Fishing holidays in Holland are becoming very popular for anglers looking for a change from UK fishing.
Anglers who have been visiting Ireland are turning to Holland as sadly the sport there is in decline. Holland offers good general fishing on very diverse waters like lake one day then a fast wide deep river with large boats going past the next. Your choice of venue is up to you. There is a lot of water and so hence lots of bank space too. Venues are never over crowded with general easy access to most. Finding your way to the best spots is made easy with our special fishing maps of the area. One thing is for sure that we can’t guarantee fish in your net but we are able to give you enough help for that chance of a big net of Dutch fish.
Apart from the large shoals of Bream and Roach, which we know well, Holland is also good for Barbel and Winde (Ide) which grow to 8 lb and are in very good numbers. Spring 2008’ threw up lots of tons with at least one 200 lb+ net of Bream to 5 lb on 8m pole ‘to hand’.... Holland also offers good predatory fishing for Pike, Zander, Roof bij (kind of Salmon) and big catfish are starting to show in numbers.
Holland and our accommodation centre, located central to a wide range and many venues, is easy to get to from the UK with either an over night ferry from Essex or Northern UK with on average a 1 1/2 - 2 hour drive from Rotterdam. Or for those in the South east a quick crossing from Dover will see you arrive within 4 hours of touching down in France or Belgium.

From our centre/base camp a range of canal, river, big river and lakes are available for fishing.
National and local fishing permits can all be organized through us on arrival. So no hassle at the local post office or trying to understand local restrictions.
From your accommodation base you have the whole of Holland to explore although most of fishing is on venues from as close as 2 miles up to a max of 13 miles away.
